Djibouti's climate is in general hot and humid; it is one of the hottest countries in the world. The annual average temperature is about 32úC (90úF), with the November to March temperature averaging 20úC and the temperature in July averaging 41úC (106úF). From June to August, the extreme heat can reach 45úC.
Rainfall is less than 125mm (5") per year and vegetation is consequently sparse or non-existent.
