There are a number of restaurants and cinemas in Kuwait as well as a wide variety of sporting activities ranging from water sports, bowling and archery to horse racing, cricket and golf. Swimming facilities are available either at the "'Touristic Enterprises Company" swimming pools complex on the sea front, or at the various sea clubs such as "Al-Shaab Sea Club", "Ras Al-Ardh Club" and "Messilah Beach.

A number of hotels in Kuwait, such as "Kuwait International", "Meridian", "Regency Palace", " SAS Hotel", "Sheraton" and "Holiday Inn", has restaurants offering French, Italian, Chinese, Japanese and Iran cuisine.

"The Entertainment City", established in 1984, is one of the remarkable entertainment utilities in Kuwait. It includes "The City of Dreams and Adventure", "The World of Wonders and Surprises" and divided into six sections including lakes, trees and picturesque views.

Another remarkable attraction in the Kuwait the huge "Music Fountain". With its several showy colours reflected on the water surface in harmony with local music sounds, the fountain represents a spectacular model of the art of illumination. Around the "Music Fountain" there are green surfaces and places for families as well as a cafeteria serving soft drinks and snacks.

The "Skating Hall", established by the Kuwaiti "Touristic Enterprises Company, is another remarkable symbol of modern civilization in Kuwait. This huge sportive monument " comprises The Olympic Hall (1800 sq. meters ice surface-1600 seats) and The Small Hall (sq. meter ice surface-600 seats). There are fees for the use of the hall including skating shoes rental with a special discount for groups.
