Cars can be bought from dealers, companies specialized in second-hand cars or from the Haraj- a public car market on the 4th Ring Road opposite the Ministry of Electricity and Water Building.
Cars over three years old require an annual roadworthiness test which is administered by the Traffic Department.
If you wish to export your car or to travel abroad with it, you will need documents allowing you to do so. Only Kuwaitis can import cars into Kuwait.
